Men’s soccer earns state title
Sun, Dec. 6, 2009: The Mounties men’s soccer team have captured the state title today after beating Taft College 2-1 at Chabot College in Hayward, CA.
Mt. SAC Head Men’s Soccer Coach Juan Sanchez said the title was a long time coming and “a big win” for the program.

Mounties win in the ninth against Glendale
Jonathon Peters exploded out of his slump with a game-winning RBI double for the Mounties in the bottom of the ninth inning on April 7.
Peters drove in three runs, while J.C. Torres had four hits and a pair of runs for Mt. SAC in the win over the Glendale College Vaqueros at Mazmanian Field.

Midway through the regular season, the Mt. SAC baseball team (15-6), (5-1) is atop the South Coast Conference standings. At practice on March 11, Mounties head coach Stacy Parker spoke about the progress his team has made during the 2009 year.
