Trespassers detained on campus
Two men were detained for trespassing today around 1 p.m. near Bldg. 7 on Mt. SAC Way at Temple Ave.
Both men, who were not Mt. SAC students, were placing flyers on parked cars around campus. They were spotted by public safety officers and asked to leave.

False alarm disrupts classes
A fire alarm was activated today in Bldg.26 at approximately 9:35 a.m.
Students swarmed in front of the building confused and wondering what set off the alarm.
Jeff Parker, director of public safety, said he did not believe that there was a fire.

Campus security diffuses verbal altercation
A non-student was handcuffed by the L.A. County Sheriff’s department in connection with a verbal altercation on the Mt. SAC campus this past Thurs., Nov. 5 as possible weapons were involved according to Director of Public Safety Jeff Parker.
