A fire alarm was pulled in the 26 building at 5:20 p.m. Tues. Oct. 27.
Students were guided by several public safety officers and were evacuated for approximately 10 minutes.
Assistant Director of Public Safety Mike Montoya said it was proven to be a false alarm.
It is the second time in the month of October that a fire alarm has been pulled in building 26 forcing students to evacuate.
“It [pulling a false alarm] isn’t necessarily a good thing,” Montoya said. ” But students will get a better idea of what to do when a real fire happens.”
