Neo Nazis with their swastika symbol on American flags marched the streets of Pomona as well with counter protestors on Nov. 6. Police officers were prepared in riot gear.
According to KABC reporter Amy Powell, about 30 members of the Detroit-based national socialist movement gathered in Pomona City Hall to protest their disapproval of illegal immigration and California’s Dream Act.
Powell reported on KABC, “There were tense moments as several dozen counter-protesters shouted and jeered at the neo-Nazis from the opposite side of a police and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy line that was dividing the groups. She also reported that some of the protestors threw cones and other items and the neo-Nazis.
Some members of the neo Nazi group shouted, “Out immigrants! Out illegals!”
“Nazis go home,” people shouted back. There were no arrests or injuries reported.
