Women’s basketball win big, 73-29
The Mt. SAC women’s basketball team defeated the Compton Community College Tartans 73-29 in a South Coast Conference game this Friday.
Sophomore guard Tanisa Braxton led the Mounties in scoring with 19 while sophomore guard Cecy Cuevas and freshman forward Qorreah Joice added 14 and 10 points, respectively.
The Mounties’ are on a current 4-game winnning streak and their record now stands at 16-5 (2-0 in conference).
The Mounties will host Pasadena City College this Wed. Jan., 27 at 5:30 p.m at Mt. SAC gym.
