The men’s Mt. SAC basketball team extended their winning streak by beating South Coast Conference rival Compton Community College, 92-80 this Friday at the Mt. SAC gym.
Freshman guard Antonio Biglow put up 31 points for the Mounties as they are now on a 6-game winning streak.
After edging out a three point victory last week at home against L.A. Trade Tech, Biglow’s 31, along with another double-double from freshman forward Kaimyn Pruit gave the Mounties a bit more of a cushioned win this game.
Pruit put up 23 points of his own and 11 rebounds as he has been a walking double-doube so far this season.
The Mounties are now 18-4 (2-0 in coference) and are undefeated in the new year with a 4-0 record in January.
The Mounties play one more home game this Wednesday against Pasadena City College at 7:30 p.m. before heading out on the road for three games against L.A. Trade Tech, Compton and Pasadena.
